AFOB Summer Forum is a biennial event of Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB). The 1st AFOB Summer Forum was held in Qingdao, Mainland China in August, 2016, and this is the 2nd one. The Forum aims to stimulate presentation and discussion among thought leaders on current social, industrial, and ethical issues related with biotechnology rather than academic or technical issues. We expect that the forum brings together academic researchers, industrial practitioners and government officials
